Job Description

CipherFort Labs is seeking a Threat Intelligence Researcher to join our remote-first team. You will analyze emerging cyber threats, identify attack patterns, and provide actionable intelligence to help our clients strengthen their cloud and network security. This role involves close collaboration with our security analysts, DevSecOps, and AI-driven analytics teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor global cyber threats and vulnerabilities across multiple sectors.
  • Analyze malware, phishing campaigns, and intrusion attempts.
  • Produce detailed threat reports and intelligence briefings for clients.
  • Collaborate with security engineers to implement defensive measures.
  • Support SOC teams with automated threat detection and response strategies.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and playbooks for zero-trust security practices.

Required Skills:

  • Programming/Scripting: Python, Go
  • Cloud & Security Tools: AWS, Azure, GCP, Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike
  • Knowledge of penetration testing, malware analysis, and threat modeling
  • Experience with automated threat detection and security analytics
  • Git/GitHub or equivalent version control

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • Professional certifications preferred: OSCP, CEH, CISSP
