Job Description

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript development. You will architect and implement backend services, build clean and scalable APIs, and contribute to cloud-native infrastructure powering high-performance digital platforms.

This is a fully remote role with async collaboration across distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and service integrations
  • Implement scalable database schemas and optimize SQL queries
  • Develop cloud-native features leveraging AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, etc.)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized workflows
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
  • Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning
  • Work asynchronously across time zones with a global engineering team

Required Skills
