Job Description

Crestwell Tax Consultants is looking for a Remote Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing for a portfolio of UK small-to-mid-sized business clients. You will support our remote payroll management service, ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, and assist in automating payroll workflows using modern cloud tools.
This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working independently in a remote-first finance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients using cloud-based systems
  • Manage PAYE, NI deductions, pension contributions, and statutory payments
  • Prepare payroll summaries and compliance reports
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Ensure HMRC filings are completed accurately and on time
  • Assist with integration and setup of payroll features in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Contribute to process documentation and payroll automation improvements
