Job Description

BrightForge Digital is seeking a Mid-Level Machine Learning Engineer to help build and deploy intelligent, data-driven features across our modern AI product ecosystem. You will work closely with software engineers, product designers, and data teams to develop ML models that power real-time analytics, personalization, and automation.

This is a fully remote position open to UK & EU-based applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Build, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world production environments.
  • Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to support ML workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML models into cloud-native applications.
  • Evaluate ML performance using statistical techniques and iterate based on results.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and model lifecycle management.
  • Work closely with product teams to translate business needs into ML solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to AI best practices.

Skills Required (Selected Skill Category)

  • Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
  • Experience with Machine Learning and model deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Data Engineering fundamentals (ETL, data cleaning, data pipelines).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL Pipelines and workflow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git/GitHub, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Understanding of REST APIs and integrating ML into web applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. (Equivalency through experience considered.)
