Engage on a contract-basis with diverse clients to deliver data-analysis, ETL/data-engineering, or ML/analytics projects (from data ingestion to model delivery and reporting).
Analyse client datasets, clean and transform data, build data pipelines, and prepare data for analytics or ML tasks.
Develop or assist in building predictive models, forecasting tools, dashboards or analytics reports — depending on project scope.
If needed, support deployment or integration of solutions on cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP), liaising with clients’ engineering or IT teams.
Ensure compliance with data-governance, privacy and (if relevant) GDPR standards when handling client data.
Provide clear documentation, project reports, and coordinate remotely with clients and internal stakeholders across time-zones.
Occasionally support clients with ad-hoc data inquiries, analytics requests, or short-term model prototyping / proof-of-concept.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency or working knowledge in Python (Data / ML) and/or SQL; familiarity with data cleaning / ETL workflows is a plus.
Some exposure or interest in data engineering or analytics pipelines; comfortable working with data ingestion, transformation, and preparation.
Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or willingness to learn.
Good communication, remote-work discipline, self-management, and ability to coordinate across time-zones.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field — or demonstrable project-based experience.
Previous experience in data analysis, data cleaning / transformation, or analytics tasks (professional or academic) is a plus.
