Job Description

Crestwell Tax Consultants is seeking a Remote Client Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for a portfolio of small-to-mid-sized business clients. You will act as the primary finance partner for each client—handling high-level reporting, supervising bookkeeping tasks, delivering budgeting insights, and advising on tax and compliance matters.
This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who enjoys ownership, client interaction, and working in a flexible remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main finance point of contact for assigned clients
  • Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT preparation workflows
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Provide guidance on compliance, corporate tax planning, and financial best practices
  • Monitor KPIs and financial health indicators using cloud accounting systems
  • Coordinate with internal accountants, analysts, and payroll specialists
  • Lead client calls through Zoom/Slack and manage expectations
  • Support implementation and optimization of Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage setups
