Bright Byte Digital Ltd is seeking an experienced Backend Developer specialising in Node.js and TypeScript to join our fully remote engineering team. You will take part in building scalable backend architectures, integrating APIs, and maintaining reliable cloud environments for a variety of client projects.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, clean code, and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build secure, scalable REST API endpoints
• Implement automated tests and ensure high code quality
• Work with SQL databases and optimise queries
• Deploy and manage services using AWS and Docker
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, designers, and PMs
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Preferred (Not Required)
• GraphQL experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
