Job Description

Crestwell Tax Consultants is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Specialist to support our clients’ end-to-end AP operations. You will be responsible for invoice processing, payment scheduling, vendor management, reconciliation, and supporting month-end activities.
This position is perfect for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a remote-first environment and enjoys working with cloud-based systems like Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding within cloud accounting systems
  • Manage payment cycles, schedule transfers, and maintain accurate AP records
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and documentation
  • Support month-end closing tasks and AP reporting
  • Assist clients with implementing AP workflows and automation tools
  • Collaborate with internal accountants and finance analysts through Slack/Zoom
