Product Designer

Job Description

NovaCanvas Creative Co. is seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our fully remote, U.S.–based creative team. You will help shape user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile for clients ranging from early-stage startups to established global brands.

Since 2016, our mission has been to deliver design-driven, strategy-informed creative work that scales with our clients’ growth. As part of our distributed team, you’ll collaborate with UX designers, UI specialists, illustrators, and motion artists to craft thoughtful, visually compelling digital products.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered web and mobile interfaces with a strong emphasis on clarity, usability, and visual consistency
• Create wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma
• Conduct or assist in user research, interviews, and usability testing
• Work within and contribute to design systems that enhance scalability across various brands
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional creative teams including brand design, illustration, and motion graphics
• Deliver design documentation, specifications, and handoff materials to development teams
• Participate in creative critiques, contribute new ideas, and help refine design processes

What We’re Looking For

• A portfolio showcasing product design work across web and mobile platforms
• Strong visual design foundations (typography, spacing, layout, color)
• Experience with user flows, prototypes, and iterative UX processes
• Ability to present design rationale clearly to internal teams and clients
• Comfort working asynchronously in a remote-first environment
• A mindset focused on problem-solving, user empathy, and continuous improvement
